HOPE plays instrumental role in entire process. July 18, Open Meetings: HOPE forces Monterey County Supervisors to Cure Illegally approved letter to Coastal Commission. June 14, Imperiled Habitat Protection: Pebble Beach Company makes Monterey County withdraw its colossally harmful and massively illegal Plan to destroy 17,000 trees in Del Monte Forest for yet another golf course. HOPE plays instrumental role in entire process. June 13, Imperiled Habitat Protection: Monterey Herald Editorial Opposes Pebble Beach Company Plan to destroy 17,000 trees in Del Monte Forest for yet another golf course. April 19, Marine Reserves: Pacific Grove's City Council votes unanimously that Pacific Grove's coastline must be fully protected. March, Open Meetings: HOPE exposes intentionally wrong responses to Grand Jury and presiding Judge from Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel. February 11, Imperiled Habitat Protection: During ATT Golf Tournament HOPE organizes Rally to Protect 17,000 trees from Clint's Chainsaw Massacre. January 26, Severing Money from Politics: League of Women Voters Board approves Model Campaign Finance law. HOPE Executive Director, David Dilworth, participated as member of the League Committee to create the model law. # # # |
