Ecosystem Walks
Coastal Ecosystems - Big Sur, Pebble Beach & Carmel.

An Ecotone is where two different ecosystems meet; such as the shore where ocean and land meet. Biodiversity is highest in an ecotone.

Here on the Monterey Peninsula our shore ecotone supports many imperiled species including the Snowy Plover and the Southern Sea Otter.
