Cell-Phones Disrupt Medical Devices<\/p><\/div>
\nHealth harm and deaths have been caused by radio frequency devices:<\/p>\n

“Hundreds of incidents of RFI induced medical device failure have been reported, studied, and summarized.<\/a>” <\/i>(IEEE, “Radiofrequency Interference with Medical Devices”, 1998)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“Smart”meter Radiowaves can interfere with phones, WiFi and possibly heart pacemakers and other medical life support devices<\/u><\/p>\n

Smartmeters broadcast using 900 mhz and 2.4 Ghz. These are identical to the frequencies used by cell-phones, cordless phones, alarm systems and wifi (internet connection) devices. <\/p>\n


\nSome 60 infants died<\/u> from apnea-monitor failures and wheelchair users have been involuntarily ejected (some into traffic) due to radio frequency interference. Cell-phones are known to interfere with heart pacemakers, defilibrators, hearing aids and electrocardiogram devices.<\/u><\/p>\n

“some cardiac patients must attach electrodes to send periodic EKGs from home to their doctor. If they live close to a broadcast transmitter, the EKG data can become garbled.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“Today, many medical devices that are tested for susceptibility to RFI cannot meet the 3 V\/m minimum immunity requirements of the current IEC Standard 601-1-2. Handheld cellular telephones produce field strengths greater than 3 V\/m at distances of up to 1 meter, while higher power transceivers produce 3 V\/m fields at distances of up to 2.6 meters. This situation may be responsible for serious failures of life sustaining medical devices.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

FCC Buck Passing Causing Deaths<\/u><\/p>\n

The outrageous part is how “our” Federal Communications Commission (FCC) refuses to look at the potential interference to medical devices<\/u> from any RF generator which includes Smartmeters, cell-phones, cordless phones and WiFi devices. “Its not my job.”<\/p>\n

They leave this, not to another agency, but to the individual medical businesses. If you have a medical device at home – you are out of luck . . . and maybe dead.
